I was going to order italian charm bracelets offline for my mom and nieces. My mom, of course, is an adult and the nieces are still little girls.

My question is, will an 18 link fit an adult?
And, if I order 18 links for the girls, can the links be taken out to make a smaller bracelet?

I hear about so many people buying charms for presents, but I never see anyone wearing them. Are they out of style?
