I was going to order italian charm bracelets offline for my mom and nieces. My mom, of course, is an adult and the nieces are still little girls.

My question is, will an 18 link fit an adult?
And, if I order 18 links for the girls, can the links be taken out to make a smaller bracelet?

I have a friend who’s going to Europe in a few months, and I thought buying her a charm bracelet would be an awesome gift for her birthday. But I am a guy who’s almost clueless about them!

Are these Italian charm bracelets all the rage right now? I don’t like the look of them as the charms on them are flat. Are the ones where the charms are little figures still around? How common are charms for those bracelets?

And lastly do you think that would be a nice small gift? And should I get her an Italian one instead of the other type?
